Leading law firm dedicated to justice

Kent, UK — Tiger Law, a leading law firm dedicated to justice and community service, proudly announces its continued pro bono efforts to support victims of fraud.

The firm has been actively involved in providing pro bono legal assistance to those affected by scams and money laundering for many years, lending its expertise to help fight economic crime and support victims.

Scams and money laundering have become pervasive issues in the UK, with alarming statistics highlighting the growing problem. According to recent reports, fraud costs the UK economy over £190 billion annually, with investment scams alone accounting for millions in losses. This surge in fraudulent activities underscores the urgent need for comprehensive legal reform and stronger protective measures.

In alignment with these efforts, Tiger Law has been a staunch supporter of the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Investment Fraud.

The APPG has been at the forefront of campaigning for legislative changes aimed at reducing fraudulent behaviour and enhancing the UK's defences against economic crime with Tiger Law’s principal Vanessa Challess providing crucial evidence to the Investment Fraud APPG Inquiry at Parliament in November 2023. Following the upcoming UK election, it is anticipated that the APPG will be reconstituted, enabling Tiger Law to resume and expand its support.

Vanessa, the principal of Tiger Law, emphasises the firm’s commitment:

"We are deeply committed to fighting fraud and supporting those who have fallen victim to these malicious activities. Our involvement with the Investment Fraud APPG and pro bono work for victims reflects our dedication to strengthening the legal framework and protecting our community from economic crime. We will be continuing our pro bono support for victims throughout the remainder of the year. At Tiger Law, we stand firmly on the side of the victims, not the scammers."

Tiger Law's proactive stance and unwavering support for fraud victims and legal reform demonstrate the firm’s dedication to justice and ethical practice. As the firm continues its advocacy and pro bono work, it remains a crucial ally in the fight against economic crime.
